Friday, 15th July 2022 was the first time Ladi would get on a runway with lights, cameras, and a cheering audience all focused on her. She felt powerful and special and left the runway without a doubt that a journey to running a successful fashion business is on course.
She joined three other ladies on the runway, as they bowed to resounding applause from the audience after showcasing different styles from their brands.

A product of months of hard work, but these lady are the extremely lucky ones to have been part of the Business Empowerment Program for Women (BEPW), a programme implemented by non-governmental organisation Ace Charity in partnership with Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, the award-winning hotel owned by Transcorp Hotels Plc. The programme runs twice a year for 4-6 months, with the primary objective of empowering women with basic sewing, business, accounting and management skills, which will enable the beneficiaries to gain the necessary knowledge to establish and manage their fashion design brands effectively and efficiently upon program completion.

The programme is one of the ways Transcorp Hotels Plc is giving back to the society through its subsidiaries, Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Transcorp Hotels Calabar, and online accommodation booking platform aura by Transcorp Hotels.
