Folakemi Adesina SHRM-SCP is the Head of Human Resources at Transcorp Hotels Plc. A dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience leading HR strategies in high-growth organizations. She specializes in talent, performance management, employee engagement, organizational development, and HR transformation, consistently aligning HR practices with business goals to drive success.
She has a proven track record in people and organizational development, having previously served as the Country Senior HR Manager at MEDLOG Nigeria and Head of Human Resources and Admin. at Pavilion Technology Ltd.
Folakemi holds a Master’s in Managerial Psychology and is a certified Total Rewards expert, as well as a Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP, ACIPM). A passionate mental health advocate, she is committed to creating healthy, supportive work environments where employees can be thrive, and organizations can grow.
Atinuke Kolade is a seasoned legal professional with over 18 years of experience as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, spanning multiple key industries, including power, oil and gas, financial services, and healthcare, showcasing her expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and medico-legal advisory. She has a proven track record of driving organizational growth and optimizing governance frameworks across complex corporate structures.
In her former capacity as Group Head, Retention and Growth at Avon HMO, she led strategic initiatives that yielded significant growth for the organisation as she was pivotal in driving portfolio management and revenue growth. She was also instrumental during her tenure as the Subsidiary Governance Officer at Heirs Holdings which was marked by transformative achievements.
She is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan and the Lagos Business School, Atinuke is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association and holds various certifications in governance and compliance.
Stanley Chikwendu is a distinguished legal, commercial, regulatory management and corporate governance professional, renowned for his exceptional track record across diverse industries, including power, energy, hospitability and financial services. He has over 12 years of executive management experience, in providing strategic oversight to cross-functional teams and driving organisational success.
Stanley currently serves the Group as the Group Head, Legal & Regulatory Management, He was previously the Group Company Secretary/Legal Counsel. Prior to joining the Transcorp Group, he served as Head, Legal & Company Secretary at Heirs Life Assurance. He had also served as Head, Legal & Company Secretary at Tangerine General Insurance (formally Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc).
Stanley is an alumnus of the University of Leicester, England and Lagos Business School, Lagos, Nigeria. He has undertaken professional courses both locally and internationally on finance, strategy, commercial law and corporate governance. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, and Association of Corporate Counsel.
Nimiweremi Claret Selekere is a communications and brand strategist with ten years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Transcorp Hotels PLC, she led the Corporate Communications team at Heirs Insurance Group, where she drove reputation management, executive positioning, sustainability communications, and integrated marketing campaigns. Her career spans leadership roles across financial services, technology, development, and nonprofit sectors, with experience supporting initiatives such as Google Digital Skills, Women Will Africa, and the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub. Nimi holds a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos and a Professional Marketing Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Passionate about communications as a tool for transformation, she is committed to advancing impactful narratives that drive business growth, social impact, and sustainable development. Beyond her professional work, she actively contributes to community-focused initiatives through organisations including Slum2School Africa, Be My Eyes, and Sanitary Aid Nigeria.
Samuel brings over 20 years of expertise in architectural design and project management, showcasing a remarkable history of delivering largescale commercial and residential developments. He has been at the forefront of designing and managing prominent projects, including multistory residential and commercial buildings, hospitals, and institutional facilities.
His skills encompass project design and execution, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management, ensuring smooth and successful project completion from inception to delivery.
Samuel earned both his BSc and MSc in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University. Additionally, he holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from the Project Management College, UK, and is a registered architect with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
As a Senior Architect and Project Manager, Samuel has worked across various sectors, including architectural firms, the banking industry, and real estate. His diverse experience has enhanced his ability to provide innovative design solutions tailored to client needs while meticulously overseeing complex projects to ensure precision and excellence.
Since 2020, Oluwatobiloba Ojediran has served as the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Transcorp Hotels Plc.
Prior to joining Transcorp Hotels Plc., Oluwatobiloba served as Financial Auditor under the Growth & Employment (GEM), a World Bank-funded project, which was implemented by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment. Before joining the GEM project, she was Finance Manager at Intercontinental Hotel Lagos, a member of the international hotel chain IHG Hotels & Resorts. Prior to Intercontinental Hotel (now Lagos Continental Hotel), Oluwatobiloba had a brief consultancy stint. She started her career at KPMG Professional Services.
Oluwatobiloba is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She possesses a diverse background in strategy, operational and financial management, audit, corporate reporting, financial modelling, and project management.
Martin Zarybnicky is a seasoned hospitality executive with over 30 years of global experience across luxury and lifestyle hotel brands. Currently serving as the General Manager of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Martin brings a deep commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Throughout his career, Martin has held senior leadership roles in some of the world’s most prestigious hotel chains, including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Anantara Hotels & Resorts, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. His recent roles include Cluster General Manager of Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Centric Cairo West, where he achieved outstanding results and led the successful pre-opening of a luxury lifestyle property. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of Anantara Siam Bangkok, a flagship property known for its heritage and excellence, which he led to global accolades such as Travel & Leisure’s “World’s Best” and the Michelin Guide.
Martin is highly regarded for his strategic leadership in hotel repositioning, F&B innovation, talent development, and multi-property operations. While at InterContinental Bangkok, he led a $50 million renovation, introduced multiple Michelin-listed dining concepts, and oversaw a complex generating $58M in revenue annually.
With experience spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, Martin has successfully launched and repositioned numerous properties, mentored future hospitality leaders, and earned industry recognition including “Best General Manager in the Russian Federation” and multiple hotel awards under his leadership.
Fluent in English, Russian, and his native Czech—with working knowledge of Arabic—Martin is passionate about cultural engagement and showcasing authentic local hospitality. He now brings this passion and wealth of experience to Nigeria, where he is committed to reinforcing Transcorp Hilton Abuja’s reputation as one of Africa’s top hospitality destinations.
Mrs. Uzo Oshogwe is the Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc. where she oversees the Company’s strategic objectives through its subsidiaries; Transcorp Hilton Abuja, and its digital hospitality platform, Aura by Transcorp Hotels.
Prior to joining Transcorp Hotels Plc, Uzo was the MD/CEO of Afriland Properties Ltd. She brings more than 30 years of professional experience, having held leadership positions at the United Bank for Africa Plc and Accenture UK.
Uzo holds a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, an MSc in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster, London and a professional certificate in Real Estate Management from Harvard Business School, USA. She is an RICS accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. She is an Alumni of the Lagos Business School and IESE, Spain having attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and Chief Executive Programme of the institutions.
