Last year, valentine’s day could not have been better. It was a memorable experience for me and John. Not only did I get proposed to, but I also enjoyed my stay at Transcorp Hilton Abuja
Walking into the hotel, felt like love at first sight, the ambience, the staff and the furnishing just tugged right at the centre of my heart. I was already on a high and I think it all exploded in me when we got up to our room and I saw the view it had! Nothing short of amazing.
Did I mention we had roses on our bed? At first, I thought John had arranged this but later found out that the hotel did this. (but I still give him the credit for choosing Transcorp Hilton though)
Fast forward to dinner, we had our meal at the Zuma Grill, dimly lit to suit the mood, with candles and roses tastefully scattered around us. The food? Let’s just say I have been dreaming about returning!
The next morning started with breakfast in bed and during the day, we walked the green grounds of the hotel, reminding each other of why we were there in the first place and that was when he popped the question.
