On Wednesday, July 27 2022, entrepreneurs, influencers and content creators were hosted to a night of Cocktails and Conversations by Transcorp Hotels Plc in an intimate event tagged Tails & Tales. The event held at the Suya Terrace Mural at Transcorp Hilton Abuja.
The event which was created to encourage intimate conversations and collaborations saw the guests discuss real issues that foster personal and professional growth. From thinking and building like an entrepreneur, even as a content creator, to the psychology of value exchange, it was time well spent for all the guests. For some of them, it was the most intense and impactful conversation they’ve had over drinks in a long time.
Tales & Tails is envisioned to become a movement that encourages conversations and storytelling by everyday people over drinks.
Storytelling has proven to be the shortest distance between two people. Stories connect people on a deeper level as they share experiences, hopes, challenges and ideas. Transcorp Hotels wants to harness all these stories to create an alternative type of entertainment and networking opportunity for professionals in cities where it operates.
With Tails & Tales, guests can show up and tell a tale or listen, while they sip from their favourite cocktail or mocktail, be it a house special, the mixologist’s special or a self-made cocktail. The event is also expected to become an opportunity for projecting local creatives who would entertain guests at the event.
Guests at the first edition of Tails & Tales left fulfilled, having had a great time, met great people and exchanged valuable lessons.
