If anyone ever doubted the glitz and sophisticated lifestyle in Abuja, they thought twice on Wednesday, as the cast and crew of Glamour Girls showed up in style at Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Abuja, venue of the premiere of the movie. Glamour Girls is the remake of the 1994 movie about independent single women embarking on their own paths within Nigeria’s traditionally patriarchal society.
The ladies, Nse Ikpe Etim, Sharon Ooja, Toke Makinwa, Lilian Afegbai, Abimbola Thomas had arrived Transcorp Hilton on Tuesday with Taymesan Emmanuel, one of the stars of the movie. They were welcomed in style at the hotel known for luxurious hospitality and exceptional guest experience. From personalised welcome notes to a VIP welcome at Capital Bar led by Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc Mrs Dupe Olusola, who was also graced the red carpet on Wednesday and gave the glamour girls a run for their money.


The red carpet on Wednesday was everything people bargained for, with beautiful decor complementing the panache of the guests. The dress code for the night was “All that glitters, everything glam” for the females and “black suit, white shirt and black bow tie” for the males.
Glamour Girls was produced by The Play Network Studios and is set to be Netflix Naija’s next original to be premiered on the streaming service on June 24, 2022.
