ABUJA, NIGERIA – Transcorp Hotels Plc (NGX: TRANSCOHOT), the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), has won the Most Gender Diverse NGX-30 Board Award for the second year in a row.
Organized by PWR Advisory, the award featured in the prestigious 2025 PWR NGX Top 30 Gender Diversity Scorecard, highlights Transcorp Hotels’ exemplary commitment to gender parity and inclusive corporate governance among the 30 most capitalised companies on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).
According to the 2025 scorecard, Transcorp Hotels Plc achieved the highest ranking, with female representation on its Board of Directors standing at 57.1%. This milestone surpasses the 30% global benchmark for critical mass representation and reinforces the Company’s position as a national leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
The annual PWR Advisory report tracks and measures the progress of gender diversity on the boards of Nigeria’s most valuable publicly listed companies. The findings are a critical benchmark for stakeholders, regulators, and the global investment community.
